B. Pharmacy Programme Specific Outcomes

PSO 1

Understand structure activity relationships, mechanism of action and pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetic profile of drugs from synthetic and natural origin, synthesize drugs in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of various diseases.

PSO 2

To understand the fundamental concept in designing principles of Indian systems of medicine, novel drug delivery systems in order to formulate medicine.

PSO 3

Classical and instrumental methods of analysis to interpret the study of drugs, excipients, and final products used by pharmaceutical industries during drug design, formulation design, and production etc.

PSO 4

To study the ethical aspects of all scheduled pharmaceuticals, enhance public health and well being, effective communication skills, teamwork skills, multidisciplinary approach by training in pharmaceutical industry and allied healthcare sector.

PSO 1

To gain comprehensive understanding of principles of drug discovery, advanced pharmacology, modern pharmaceutical analytical techniques, pharmacological and toxicological screening techniques, clinical research & pharmacovigilance.

PSO 2

To develop and engage in preclinical and clinical research adhering to regulatory guidelines.

PSO 3

To provide exposure to the ethical principles, tools and techniques used in preclinical and clinical pharmacology.

PSO 4

To demonstrate adeptness in technical writing and presentations through both individual and team-based classroom and practical experiences.
